Although unseasonably warm weather continues to hamper high-street Christmas sales, and another recession still looms ominously in the background, people are already well into the mindset of deciding what they would like and it seems that all they want for Christmas is a gadget. And preferably one with a small silver Apple on it.
Yes its that time of year already when the consumer gloves come off and the annual hotly contested competition for the highest Christmas sales begins. Last year we saw Apple leading the way with the iPad being the most desired gadget followed closely by the iPhone 4 with the Kindle, TomTom Sat Nav and the Sony Playstation Move bringing up the rear. As announced, a special Anniversary Edition of the massively popular Grand Theft Auto III game is now available on iOS and Android devices.
The anniversary edition is nearly identical to the 10-year-old original game, which is widely considered to be one of the most influential games of all time. The gameplay is optimized for touch-screen devices, with resizable custom controls.
There are two major improvements from the original, too: mission retry and autosave mode, which should greatly lessen the chances of players smashing their mobile devices in frustration.

For example, while Apple’s elegant iPhone 4S and iPad 2 still top many gift lists, Android powerhouses such as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone and the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet are strong contenders.

And it seems it wasnt such a bad idea. The startup she joined is called Lemon, and reportedly raised no less than $10 million in funding thanks to its receipt tracking app (see our review).
Its not a story about luck or privilege; Isabel Pesces trajectory is a shining example of determination against all odds. Unlike many of her fellow students, Isabel wasnt raised to join a top American university.

Gates left Microsoft, the company he co-founded way back in 1975, to pursue more altruistic endeavours with his acquired billions. The most recent of which is helping China develop a nuclear reactor – we kid you not.
The leak comes via Fortune:
If Gates did return as CEO he would, of course, be replacing his long-time collaborator Steve Ballmer. But why wo
